How do I convert my MP3 files to the AAC format in iTunes (v7.5)?

Converting MP3 files to AAC format has many benefits but for me the main reason is much smaller files.

1. Ensure that you have added your MP3 files to the iTunes library.
2. Select the MP3 files you would like to convert then right-click on the selected files and select Convert Selection to AAC.
3. After the conversion is complete you may safely remove your MP3 files from the iTunes library.

How do I minimize iTunes to the Task Bar?

To send iTunes to the Windows Task Bar when minimized:

1. From the desktop, right-click on an empty portion of the Task Bar then select: Properties.
2. Select the: Toolbars tab then enable the iTunes toolbar.
3. Click: OK. With this option enabled, iTunes will minimize to the Task Bar (near the notification area).

How do I import my MP3 music into iTunes (v7.5)?

1. To avoid confusion, close or minimize all open applications.
2. Launch iTunes.
3. From the iTunes menu bar, click: File > Add Folder to Library…
4. Locate and select the folder that contains your MP3 music then click: OK.
5. You have successfully added your MP3 music to the library.
